The edit/find command in IE6 Is not working. It's also not working in
Quicken so I suspect it's a windows problem.
Any ideas? Please post to newsgroup not email
Thanks

Click Start, Run and type:

regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll

Similarly, run these commands:

regsvr32 mshtmled.dll
regsvr32 oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll

Thanks for the reply Ramesh
I solved the problem last night and feel a little foolish! Several
weeks ago I set up a dual monitor display but if i don't need the
second monitor I leave it off. Some programs like Quicken and IE have
"dialog boxes" that popup requiring you to make a choice before you can
proceed. Well you can quess where the dialog boxes were popping up, yup
into the montor that was turned off. This has driven me around the bend
for 2 weeks especially Hotmail where I could not delete the junk mail
because it reqired a confirmation in a dialog box.

Thanks again for the reply
