Have 2 IDE drives and one SATA. the SATA is 2 partitions, W & X, the W has 2
(.tib) True Image backup images on it and a number of karaoke MP3+G files.
If I do a "Find" for any files it always crashes on the W drive giving me
the "Explorer has encountered a problem...." and closes down.
Have done Checkdsk and defrag but it still happens.
Why should that happen only on this one partition, is it something to do
with it trying to search the TIB files?

Please post a copy of the Error Report from Event Viewer.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.
