Filtering on a protected Sheet

How can I use Data/Filter/Auto Filter on a protected sheet, with or
with out a password.

If you're using Office 2003 or greater, protect the spreadsheet as
follows:

Tools->Protection->Protect Sheet
In the box that appears, scroll down and select Use AutoFilter.
