I am trying to make a complete list of all pages in a book. So, the a
sample cell would say 004-005 or 122-123....
Each cell has this range. I created a custom format of 000-000 for the
first page number, 002-003. Then for all the other cells I have a
formula that adds 2002 to the last cell.
Now that I have the intitial thing set up, I created headings for
further columns that say things like completion date and the page
spread topic....etc.
I want to have the Filter options to better be able to work with this
data....but whenever I test the Filter dropdowns the page numbers are
messed up because they loose their reference.
How do I get these now established page numbers to be just page
numbers and remove the formula? The whole point of the formula was to
not type the ranges from 002 all the way to 359...
