Hi,

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm trying to copy some data from my worksheet to a new sheet. The
background is like this:-
Column A Col B Col C Col D
Owner name Country City No of Confs

I want to filter the sheet to display the Owner name and No of Confs
column into a new sheet, with a criteria that City = Weybridge..

If you could please help.

Hi

On sheet2 in cell A1 type City, in cell A2 type Weybridge.
Now, starting from sheet2, Data>Filter>Advanced Filter>Copy to another
location>
List range>set your data range on sheet1
Criteria range>Sheet2!A1:A2
Copy to>Sheet2!A4

I have tried this but now it copies all the filter cell details into
the new street. It doesnt seem to filter it... Help!

Hi

On Sheet2 copy the column headings that you wish to see brought over
from Sheet1 onto say Row 4 of sheet2.

For example, if you only want Owner Name and Number of Confs, then enter
these headings into A4 and B4.
In the final step of Advanced Filter
Copy to>Sheet2!A4:A5
