Film scanner help.

Warren Weber

My film scanner only works on win 95/98/NT. I purchased a new computer that
has Win XP. Any way around this to get scanner to work. No downloads
available for this scanner. Warren

How about telling us what scanner it is?
Brand? Model? Give us a clue and maybe
you'll get some help.

Does it use SCSI? USB?

There are issues with SCSI scanners on
Win2K and WinXP. Google on "ASPI Layer"
for more info and for workarounds.

It is a ArtiScan 2400FS. No longer in production. Uses parallel port. Warren

Have you considered loading WIN98 on your hard drive after adding partitions
with Partition Magic?

Rafe. Thanks. I will contact Mr.Yang. The "scanner drive " site won't help
unless you buy one of the touted programs they have. I don't need what they
are selling. Warren
