hi community

how do i fill in say, I work 9 hours 45 minutes as my overtime work.

is it that I need to format the cell as > h:mm > and if up as 09:45 ?

if i do that, when i go into the edit mode, the formula bar will show me
something like 9:45:00 AM

please somebody clarify for me :)

thanks

Yes, the formula bar always shows time entries in a date format, it can be
off-putting but nevertheless it's the best way to use a h:mm format.

If you have totals which may come to more than 24 hours use [h]:mm

thanks "daddylonglegs" :) understand! :)
