Fill in fields

I have created a word document with many fill in fields. My question is how do I stop it opening and having to go throught each filed before I can get into the document.
 
You don't.

Fill-In fields are not ordinarily triggered upon opening an existing
document but rather on the creation of a new document from a template.

Look into "online forms" in help. Or consider using a userform that you can
cancel. A userform is a custom dialog box that could ask all of your
questions at once. If this is of interest, see the page on how to create a

Thanks for your help I am loooking into it now. This is the first time I have been on this site so I am thanking you for your help now. As you say I am opening the document from a template and I have created approx. 20 fields within it. However quite a lot of detail has to be put into each field usually under a cut and paste. The main for the form is to keep consistancey
Thanks once again any other suggestion on this subject would be great
