I've recently had a new pc installed and have synchronised my pocket pc with my desktop. Unfortunately, my pocket pc has taken on the Outlook settings from my desktop and as a result, all my contacts on both pc's are filed as with the format 'surname, firstname.

I want all my contact to be filed as 'firstname, surname'. The 'tools, options etc gives you the opportunity to specify this for NEW contacts but it doesn't seem to work for existing contacts.

Does anyone know how I might be able to get my existing contacts to be filed with the format 'firstname, surname'.

Thanks

You'd need to use code to do that.

Woops. I didn't notice the link at first Russ. This is the first time that I've ever used this type of help facility so I'm sorry if I seem a bit slow on the uptake. I've just gone through the whole process of creating the form/inputing the code and it worked a treat.

THANKS A BUNCH for this. It certainly makes my life a wee bit happier :)

Cheers
