Hi,
I have a spreadsheet that contains lists of data (just data, no external
links), over the years of data collection this has reached 96meg, I tried to
make the file smaller by saving a copy and deleting current data and calling
this copy 'history.xls', I then deleted the historic tabs from the working
version and saved it. The problem is that, despite deleting the old data,
the file still shows as being 96meg.
I am presuming that the data is still in existance 'behind the scenes' how
can I update the file without copying the current tabs into a new workbook?
