I am noticing that in some cases, my PowerPoint filesize
will change slightly just from the simple act of opening,
reviewing, and closing, with no changes or save involved.
The date/time stamp remains unchanged.
This wreaks havoc with my file synchronization and backup
software, because it sees files of two different sizes
with the same date/time. Naturally, it skips the pair and
reports an error.
Is this an undocumented feature or something? It doesn't
even seem right or possible. Is there some way to prevent
or eliminate it?
thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
