Sorry about sending to your email! New user and all!
The files are any such as text-no open, print, edit, & open with; jpg-
no open, preview, print,edit, & open with; inf-open, install, print, &
open with. Checked the first site first step-nothing 2nd step dont
know. Other issues same situation zip files wont unzip to folder on
desktop and picture resizer powertoy doesn't come up anymore. Fixed
the zip problem and then it came back. It's like there is a policy in
place that won't allow it. Have messed with it for 3 days now,
checking things in the registry, using fixes from different sites
concerning zip files, inf files & jpg files to no avail. Not able to
restore to an earlier time as a couple of weeks ago I had a trojan. I
use AVG, Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster and Adaware all register as clean
along with nothing coming up different on HJT. At my wits end with
this!

Excellent! Thanks for the feedback.
Perhaps uninstalling/reinstalling the related application (in this case, Autocad's Autodesk DWF Viewer) may do the trick sometimes.
