Files and Settings Tranfer Wizard

Hi there,
I replaced the father-in-laws hard disk at the weekend and
used the files and settings transfer wizard to go from Win98 to XP. I
expected his desktop shortcuts to be copied over but they weren't. Is this
something that can be done with the wizard?

It could be..
Or you could (and would likely be better off in that scenario) recreating
them.
That is - if the applications in question (those the shortcuts are for)
exists on the new system.
(You have to reinstall applications.)
