Hi,

I want to set Initial file name(suggesting a file name),
in the File Save dialog whenever the user presses Save or
SaveAs button. I know that this option is available in
Office 2002 as a member of FileDialog. But I see that
there is no such facility in PowerPoint 2000. Does anyone
know how can I set a initial file name for PowerPoint
2000, whenever user presses Save or SaveAs??

Thanks,
Stee

Hi Shyam,

I am exactly trying that only. But my requirement is to
specify a file name by default in "File name:" edit box.
i.e. I want to suggest a specific file name to the user by
default whenever he presses Save or Save As. In 2002,
there is an option for this using
parameter "InitialFileName". But in 2000? I hope this link
you'd given doesnt try this requirement...rite? Any
suggestions plz?

Thanks,
Stee

Sorry for the delay. I shall check and revert to you tonight. I need to set
up a PPT2000 machine to do some checking.

Shyam

If there's something I can check for you, Shyam, let me know.
I've got a PPT2000 machine set up already
