I am trying to send files from my xp pro system to my xp home system. both of
my computers are connected through a router. I can see the xp home system
when i browse through the microsoft windows network, but i am unable to
connect. I get a message saying i dont access to this computer. Is their a
way i can connect to the xp home system? thanks

Routers are only required if the two PCs are on two "different" networks.
IF both PCs are on the network, the check on the Windows firewall settings
on both. You may have to check the user accounts on both since XP needs to
know the user account in order to give access to the files.

Yves: Wrong. Routers are used to make a network. Bridges are required to
cross between two networks.

Victor: Are you trying to send from the PRO? or are you trying to download
using the Home?
How have you setup the sharing?
