Yes, hello about two weeks ago I dled something for
gaming but decided to delete it problem was I put it into
program files and couldnt differentiate between the
gaming files I wanted to delete and existing files. So
in effect the deleted files were needed for many things I
use, like microsoft works a file was deleted somehow my
mistake, and also software for burning cd's apparently
though that software is needed for simple file transfers
ie moving a folder into another area it brings up screen
saying install from c://zip something something.

Anyway I was wondering if there was a way to recover the
lost files somehow? Or dowload files.

Hello fatkins,

Restoring your computer to an earlier time may help you recover those lost
files. To launch System Restore, click on Start, point to All Programs,
Accessories, System Tools then click on System Restore.

Thanks for the quick replies, sry for my grammar, well I
figured how to restore it to its original condition, but
I've changed from cable to dsl, I was wondering how I
would copy the files of the dsl so I wouldnt have to set
it up again since I will be restoring from an earlier
date.

No, it won't. Recovering deleted files requires the use of an undelete
utility if they are no longer in the Recycle Bin.
