File size bloat

Hello,

Has anyone experienced problems with excel file size
bloating to virtually unmanageable proportions and could
give any tips to address it?

Mine is 20 MB, which is not warranted by the amount of
data I put in. I have about 35 worksheets, but that does
not explain it either.

Deleting unused rows/columns does not help, nor
unchecking "wrap tax", nor dealing away with colors.

Help!

Yes, I did. When I unchecked "wrap text" the file size
went from 19,474 kb to 19,466, which does not really help
me much.

I had a similar problem which turned out to be some kind
of picture objects that weren't visible. No idea how they
got there, but as I coped rows the file got bigger and
bigger. To find them I had to use the "Go To" Option off
the Edit Pull Down Menu, use the "Special..." button, and
then select Objects.
