Matt

I already set all computers under the same workgroup name,
and computers are
able to ping with each others. However, when I clicked "My
Network Places"
in desktop, and click "View workgroup computers," but
still unable to see
other computers. I couldn't see other computers' names.
Again, my goal is
just to share files among all computers. Any ideas what's
going on?

Someone suggested that I should disable ICF if I am behind
a router with NAT, but I dont think this is the case.
Anyway, how to disable ICF in a machine?

Please advise. Thanks!

Right click on your network connection > Properties > Advanced > uncheck
protect my computer...

Right click on your network connection > Properties > Advanced > uncheck
protect my computer...

after clicking network connection, I should choose TCP/IP, and click
properties, right? In TCP/IP properties window, and click advanced, I
couldn't see uncheck protect my computer option.

Not TCP/IP properties. Network connection properties > advanced. The
advanced tab is at the top of the window.
