I am very new to XP. I promise I'll buy a third party book by the end of
this week but meanwhile I need a little help.

We have 5 computers peer-to-peer network in a small office. On my computer
(XP-pro) I have some files and folders that I want a couple of persons (not
all 5) to have access (without making my entire hard drive available to
them).

How can I do that so the other user could access some of my files from their
workstations by possibly by using a password?

Thanks
Indra M.

Turn simple file sharing off, and then set permissions on the various
folders and files to allow access to particular users .. I do recommend
to read about it first (either the help files, or use www.google.com to
find some on-line documentation). Permissions are tricky.
