I setup a home network 3 of them xp pro and 1 xp home on laptop. Two pros can
see each other and home and can file file share just fine the other pro can
use the other computers file and works fine but the others can only use part
of the one xp computer
I can see and use every thing on drive E,F but not on C. Anything that has
to do with C cannot be use. when I click on the root C of the computer it
gives" \\richard\c is not accessible. you may not have permission to use this
network resource.Contact the asministrator of this server to find out if you
have access permission.

The network path not found. " If I click a file on the C drive I get
the same thing untill the end. "Not enough server storage is available to
process this command.

Anyone have any help

The problem is probably that an antivirus program has changed an
obscure TCP/IP setting. Please see this Microsoft Knowledge Base
article for a likely solution, specifying a value of 15 for
IRPStackSize on C:

Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group

Thanks for the info Steve that seem to help on some of the files. Now what I
have left is Drive C it self and a few files that said

"\\richard\c is not accessible. you may not have permission to use this
network resource.Contact the asministrator of this server to find out if you
have access permission.

The network path not found. " now I can see it so it seem to me that the
path is there. Just the network can't find it.

Now, I'm just taking a wild stab here, but you may need to set NTFS
permissions through the Security tab in order to access these files.
