Is there a way to force Win XP Pro to allow "full
control" local area network sharing (read/write access)
of the "Program Files" folder in the Boot Drive? I need
to keep several folders/files synced between machines on
my LAN and in a few cases the data reside in a sub-folder
of a program folder. The programs do NOT allow me to
keep the data in another place, so that is not a
solution. I DO understand the risk in doing this, but
have been doing it for years with Win 9x and 2K. Any
help would be greatly appreciated!
