File Sharing Frustration

I have a 3 pc peer-to-peer home network. All 3 pc's run
XP Pro. I have a folder on my C: drive that I have shared
with full access but for some reason, I can't copy files
from that folder to one of my other pc's. I always get
a 'access denied' message. I checked the folder's
properties and saw that it was set to read only. I
unchecked that box and chose the option to apply it to all
subfolders and files but when I exit the folder's
properties and look again, there's a check next to read
only. I've tried unchecking read only and rebooting all 3
pc's but that didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have the same username and password on both computers?

Can you Browse to both computers for each computer?

I've had similar problems in the past. It wasn't
Microsoft's stuff giving me the problem, it was a third-
party software firewall. Take a look there.
