I used the file setting transfer wizard to do back up then format and
reinstall my WinXP. I uploaded the files to xdrive then formatted and
reinstalled winXP. I then downloaded the three files,
1. 1k stats file
2. 2gb IMG00001.dat
3. 1.2gb IMG00002.dat

Opened up the file setting transfer wizard and went though option for new
computer then when asked where the flies were I browsed and pointed it to the
file location on my HDD. A dialog box appeared saying it could not find files
and make sure the disk was in the drive.

Before they were uploaded the icons looked similar to those for the media
player when downloaded they appear in the form when windows does not
recognize a file. When asked to recognize “open with†using the internet it
says it could be a coral data file.

I am using same computer same operating system the only thing is I used the
internet to upload and download. Is there any way to fix this problem so that
the wizard can recognize the files.

I ran the file transfer wizard again just to compare the .dat files. Then I
tryed doing the same thing again with the downloaded files and it gave me
this error

"An error occurred while the wizard was loading your data.
The wizard cannot create the data needed to save your settings. Make sure
you have enough disk space available.

To close this wizard, click Finish."

Snip from the following article:

The approximate total space that FSTW requires (in temporary area and
on the destination drive), is approximately 4 times the size of the
store that is used. It unpacks the store in the temporary area (the
local fixed drive with the greatest amount of free disk space). The
unpacked data is approximately 2 times the size of the store, based on
a 50 percent compression ratio. After this, FSTW copies each file from
the temporary area to the destination (without deleting the files from
the temporary area). When this process completes, the temporary area
is cleaned up.
