I have locked down a particular folder so that my users can READ & EXECUTE, READ and LIST FOLDER CONTENTS. There are hundreds of subfolders within this folder. Each folder has an index file that I want my users to be able to modify. Is it possible to allow MODIFY rights only to this index file (which has the same name in each folder) without having to set security for each file individualy. If I allow MODIFY rights on the root folder my users will be able to modify all files and folders within that folder and thats more than I want. Is this possible? Thanks

Unfortunately, no. You'll have to set them individually. automate it!
