File retreival

Hi
I'm trying to help a collegue who have lost a number of files during a
program removal routine.
The program (sync program for a mobile phone) was for some reason installed
directly on the desktop.
When the removal program erased the program files it also managed to swipe
all other files from the location.
I have checked the recycle bin, used a third party file recovery program
from quetek and checked the entire system for possible file transfers but it
does not turn up anywhere.

Does anyoune have a clue to what I might do to retrieve the file?

Did you try a system restore? Don't know if it will restore those files but
at least you can try.

Otherwise I guess you will have to search the web for the sync program to
the phone.

Hi,

In this case I suppose Active@ undelete or Uneraser should help. These
are really powerful data recovery tools, thay never failed me before
and were always able to restore literally all of mine erased files.
That should really solve the problem I suppose.
