Does anyone know how to get word XP to bring up the properties box automatically when doing a File - Saving As... of an existing but changed document which already has had some properties set?? All documentation I can find states it will happen when you save for the first time i.e. File - Save. Surely, File - Save As... is also creating a new document?? Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Open Word, click "Tools", "Options", click the "Save" TAB and check the
"Prompt for document properties" option. After providing a name for their
file the properties Dialog Box pops up allowing them to enter information.

Sorry Bill, tried that; it's set as default on these Office XP machines, works on first time saves but not after that.
