Hi, I have two computers here and one of them WinXP Home won't boot anymore...I get a really long load time and then a blue screen flashes up quickly and I have managed to see the word registry. I am assuming that I need to restore the registry...no problems there as per KB307545. I do have some files on this pc ( pictures ) that I need to save before I try and sort of repair / restore. I put this hard drive in my other computer WinXP Home so I could grab a copy of my pics and burn to a cd. I can't access the My Documents folder from this hard drive cause I had a username and password set up on that computer...everytime I try to open the folder I get access denied...I have created the same account ( username and password ) on my working computer...logged in as that user but still cannot get access to the folder I need to. Does anyone know a possible solution to this problem. On the faulty computer I can get to the recovery console....just not game enough to try it without first backing up the data. Thanks in Advance
