Every time I start up my computer, the Temp file in C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings automatically appears as the first screen I see. How do I stop it opening?

Hi Sharon...
Right click on start and left click Explore.
In the left column, if everything is collapsed, click the plus sign in front of My Computer, then click the plus sign in front of your main drive (probably C).
Click the plus sign in front of Documents and Settings.
Begin by first clicking the plus sign in front of Owner.
Click the + sign in front of Start Menu.
Click the + sign in front of Programs.
Scroll down and click on StartUp.
See if there is a folder in the right-hand column which refers back to this temp folder that is opening on startup. If there is, right click it and delete it.

If you do not see this under Owner...scroll back up and look as well under Default User and All Users following the same steps as above.
If you do find a reference folder where I mentioned it may be located, after delete...restart your system. This problem should then be gone.
If not or you cannot locate a reference for it this way...post back.
Take Care...
Dee
