File not found on Reinstallation disk, but its there

It says it cannot find the folder 'asms', but I found it on the disk on my
laptop. But when I canceled it, in the system log that popped up, it said it
couldn't find the file
D:\I386\NT5INF.CAT (where D is the Cd-rom drive), and I can also find this
file on the disk in the correct place. If anyone knows whats going on, please
help, because this is rediculous.
