"File not available" message???

My word files and folders are there, but I get the
message "The File_____is not available."

Background info. Compaq Presario 4550. Windows ME. New
Motherboard installed a month ago, and I downloaded Norton
Internet Security a week or so ago, and the problem
started soon thereafter.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Could be the problem described in "OFF: Cannot Open Office Documents or
Cannot Edit Inserted Objects After You Install Office XP Service Pack 2 or
Office 2000 Service Pack 3 [KB328613]" at
