File Names lost in My Pictures

I have the folder My Picutres under the thumbnail view, but the file names do
not appear under the thumbnails. It was not always this way, and I can't
pinpoint what I did to change it.

The following tweak originally posted by

for Thumbnails in Windows XP"
(works for thumbnail view and filmstrip view)

Open a folder that contains image files.

Press and hold your Shift key while clicking
on the View button and select Details.

Continue holding the Shift key and click
on the View button and select Thumbnails
again.
