Does this ring a bell with anyone ?

I have a file that on occasion shows up on the desktop. It has no size or
name, just a tidle. I thought I saw something about that in the Wondows XP
or IE / OE groups quite a while ago but I can't find any reference to it
here or in the KB. Any idea on what's causing it and how to eliminate it ?
It seems to be an intermitent problem.

Thanks,

David...

Hi,

It's a bug from one of the updates. Just delete it when it occurs (that
happens when you open your address book). It actually is just a copy of the
address book. MS is aware of this issue, but no fix has been offered yet.

If you rename it with a .wab extension you will see that it is a copy of
your address book, it appears after you make any change to your Address
book.
The best thing to do is to send it to the My Documents folder, and look upon
it as a free backup of A'Book.
MS are aware of the bug and have been working on a fix for a long time :-))
