Note that you don't have permissions to view the sub-keys under "Protected Storage". Give yourself full permission to view the sub-keys beneath (Data, Data2 or other keys). Though this article was originally written for a different purpose, it suits all the applications which use the "Protected Storage" key for storing the credentials. Therefore any changes made (or the key deleted) might affect *all* applications which have stored the password there. (Including Outlook, Outlook Express, IE AutoComplete, WebForms, Passwords etc)

Thanks for the reply. When I sign on to some websites all my
user names are there. I tried all options to clear them. I gues the only way
to get them out is use "regedit". I never have used it before but
