File menu doesn't show recent files

When I click File from the menu bar, recently opened files
aren't listed, and I can't figure out how to cause them to
be listed. Can anyone help?

Hi George,

Go Tools Menu > Options... Command > General Tab and see if the "Recently
used file list" option is selected and the numbers of entries.
