This is so frustrating!

I have a list of where Outlook files are supposed to be but a couple of
them are not there!

The list says that Rules can be found under c:\Documents and Settings
\<usr>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

Nope, not on my computer and I have a lot of Rules set up so I know
there should be a file (when I do a file search for *.rwz, there are no
results!)

Also, I can't find my custom dictionary with the auto-corrects that
I've entered. Help? It's not in the custom.dic file under c:
\Documents and Settings\<usr>\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof. There
are items I've added to the dictionary, but not to auto-correct.

Outlook 2002/2003 (trouble finding the files with either version - I
just upgraded to 2003 yesteday!) and WinXP Pro

Thanks,

Sherry

It is probably better to not find them. Make your changes
with the system: Outlook 2003 Help returned this:
Turn on or off AutoCorrect options
If Microsoft Word is your e-mail editor, see Word Help.

From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu,
click Options, and then click the Spelling tab.
Click AutoCorrect Options.
To select the options, do one or more of the following:
To set the capitalization options, select or clear the
appropriate check boxes in the dialog box.
To turn on or off the AutoCorrect entries, select or clear
the Replace text as you type check box.

I know how to create the auto-correct entries in Outlook and turn them
on or off and I know how to create rules. I want to find the files so I
can transfer it to my laptop, which I use when I travel.

I *need* the auto-correct files on both my PC and my laptop and I
really hate the thought of having to re-enter all the ones that I've
entered on my PC! I've just started taking my laptop with me and it's
really a PITA to not have the speed in responding to my support
messages that the auto-correct affords me. I have about 35 rules set,
time consuming to create, and I don't wish to have to duplicate them
either on the laptop.
