I have an access database with queries forms, reports and
VBA code linked to two other DB's with tables. When I
started this morning the file size was approx 4500 kb.
After running some of the forms and making a few changes
(mostly) deletions the file size is now 60548 KB. The
data files are 804kb and 1224kb. Compacting will reduce
the file size but it increases exponentially each time it
is opened and during use. My computer is Dell Inspiron
8200 with 256 mb of ram. The database processing is
extremely slow.

Can anyone help?

Try some of these KB articles for a resolution:

Are you using any temporary tables in this database? If so, you should move this to a linked
database.

Are you importing any images, or other binary type files (audio, video, etc.)?
