I did this before, but can find how or the option on my Outlook 2003
Professional.

I want to DELETE a mail that is too big, from the server.

I see how to do it AFTER I got the mail, I dont want that, I dont want to
get it.

Thanks

Set your email account only download items of a certain size then check
mail. You'll get a header item for the 'big' mail item. Mark it for deletion
then check mail again.

To change the maximum size for downloaded items go here in Outlook: Tools
menu > Send/Receive > Send/Receive settings > Define Send/Receive groups >
Highlight the group you're using > Click Edit > Check the "Download only
headers for items larger than" box and set the size

I am trying to do this also. I can't check the 'download only headers' tick
box as it is greyed out. I am connecting to a remote exchange server via a
VPN using windows XP.

How can I get the 'download only headers tick box to be accessible?

Thanks

Martin

Not sure in regards to an Exchange Server. I know the box is available for
POP3 accounts but I'm unsure about Exchange.

If you ISP gives you a webmail access to your e-mail, you can delete the
file from there. Or try this: http://www.web2mail.com/lite/welcome.php

Does your company offer Outloko Web Access? If so, delete them that way.

You can't, since Outlook doesn't download headers with Exchange.
