I mistakenly changed all my .dat file extension
asscociation when I used open with and didn't realize I
had all extensions selected. Can someone tell me how I
can undo this mistake?

Bill,
Good Morning. Go to: Start/Control Panel/Folder Options/File Types/let the
Flashlight do its thing/once the file extensions show up/scroll down and
highlight ".dat"/what to do is fairly obvious there so I won't dwell on it.

DAT is a generic binary type, and should not have anything associated
with it/ Look for it in Folder Options - File Types and remove the one
you have set up
