File explorer replacement?

I have a folder with thousands of files and I am trying to delete a bunch
based on a text search in file explorer. Everytime I delete a bunch of
files, a new search begins automatically without my permission. Is there a
way to turn this off? Also if I click the stop button to stop the unwated
search, sometimes it responds after a long time and sometimes it crashes.
Also the delete fails many times because one of more file does exist
anymore. I find file explorer one of the most irritating software from
Microsoft.

Is there a file explorer replacement that is fast, has a friendly search
function and can continute deleting files even if it encounters an error
deleting a certain file?

I don't know of a 3rd party utility, but I've had success just using a
command prompt in similar situations, provided the test string you're
searching for is simple enough to be used in the del command's parameters.
