File Download in Xnews

I am using Xnews, haven't for years.

When I see a link in a post (it does not show as a hotlink in Xnews), how
can I set it so that it looks for Firefox to go to that link?

Also, how to change Font style in composing a post?

It'll open in your default browser, whichever that is.
