Are you sure it is being deleted? Can you delete other files?

Try this. Right click on the file and then click on "Properties" It is
marked "Read Only"

Do you have delete rights under the name you are logged on under?

I have tried all the usual things the file is not read only, I am the only user and therefor the system administrator. Still the file keeps comming back, even though it is shown in the trash can

Try deleting it from the trash can. Make sure the program that created
it is not running when you do this.

Joseph, I have done all this and still the file returns to my documents, perhaps I will just have to rename it and use it again, my destiny is to have a folder that cannot be removed, and yes I have tried to rename the file and delete the new one, and it still returns like a faithful old dog.

It might be a good time to update and scan virus and add control
programs
