Go in file properties and uncheck all you find; read only, advanced
options,
if no success, go to Folder Options\View\disable simple file sharing then go
to file properties\security\add your user_name and add full permissions, go
into advanced options\owner tab\take possesion\go into permissions tab and
auditing tab, remove check from inherit from main object permission entries
and auditing entries\in permissions select your user name\modify\apply full
permissions\select remove from the dialog box that appears\accept all and
exit
delete now.... also delete from the recicle bin.... works for me!...
Hope this helps..

I have found 3 files on my pc running XP and can't delete them. I've read
through these posts and visited some websites listed in this forum for help.
Nothing has worked. Gone through DOS to delete. Error comes back that the
system cannot find the path specified. The files listed cannot be moved
either. They show 0 bytes and even when I click on the current folder
they're in, it says that the folder is empty.
