Everytime I startup Word, it pops up a box titled "File Conversion - ~$ALMAPP.DOT" and it says to select the encoding that makes my document readable and lists a few and has a preview that lists my name and a bunch of weird box characters. No matter which one I choose, another dialogue box with a exclamation mark sign that says "The add-in template is not valid. (C:\Program Files\...\~$ALMAPP.DOT) " and an OK box. I've checked the path and don't know what to do with this file. Help please. Thank

Move the file out of the startup folder.
