File Association Problem

Somehow... and I wish I knew how, all executable file associations became
associated with Adobe Reader. licking every .exe file would open Acrobat.

If would right click on an a .exe in Explorer, there was no option to "Open
With", only "Read", so I could not reset this. Under the Defaul option in
Control Panel, .exe is not an extension that can be modified.

I uninstalled Acrobat, and all my executables were back to n ormal. Great!
Until I reinstalled Acrobat, and all associations reverted to Acrobat.

I need Acrobat, but also my executables (duh!).

How can I fix this?

Thanks - Ron

One possible approach...install Foxit reader instead.

Much smaller, faster here. Same FREE price, and does the job nicely.
