file and settings tyransfer wizard woes

keep getting the message "the location that you specified does not contain stored information." I have the correct file but it won't accept it. One computer is Windows XP with svc patch 2 the other is svc patch one would that do it??
 
The file transfer wizard data folder ends up as:USMT2.UN
Locate that and the wizard will run it.
 
I have exactly the same problem. I created a backup using File and Settings
Transfer on a computer with XP SP2 installed then tried to restore on a
computer without SP2. I wonder if re-installing SP2 might fix this? Though
the reason I took it off was it was causing problems with my SQL Server
connection!

Just checked on the beta newsgroup and apparently File & Settings
transferred with SP2 installed cannot be restored on a computer without SP2.
