Hello

In Win XP, if we go to Start | Control Panel | double-click on Network
Connections, right-click on LAN, and then select properties, we can clear the
checkbox alongside 'File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks'.

How can I do that in Vista, please?

Thanks.

Start-Network, then click on Network and Sharing Centre at the top of the
Window. In the new window that appears, there are two buttons to click - one
for File Sharing and one for Printer Sharing.

HTH

Contro Panel, Network and Sharing Center, click "View Status" link, then
"Properties" button.

or
click start, type ncpa.cpl and hit enter
