After a recent virus attack, I did a clean install on my
primary drive (I have two hard drives). Before formatting
the drive and re-installing XP, I moved my files and
folders to my secondary (D) drive. Unfortunately The
files were secured by the 'make this file private'
setting. Now I find that I cannot access those files from
my newly installed primary drive. Is there some way to
undo the privacy setting on those files so that I can
move them back to my primary drive? I backed up 95% of
the information on the drive to disks so I haven't lost
the information, however, i'd like to delete the files or
move them to my C: drive to make room on the D: drive.
Any help would be appreciated.
