file access denied

I worked on an excel file at home and then saved it to a floppy disk. I took it to work (I'm a teacher). In my school computer, I attempted to open the file and received the error message: access denied read-only. I can't can't copy it or open it even just to look at it.
 
This is a Microsoft Accesss database newsgroup, which
might be why no one answered.

However, might I suggest you try going to Windows Explorer
and right mouse clicking on the file and make sure Read
Only is NOT checked.
