i need help im in a class for micro applications i nedd to figure out the
commission for these ad reps but its to confusing

Well, if you think it is confusing, imagine how we must feel with all those
details you just gave us.

If you are in a class, have you thought about asking your instructor for
help or reviewing the previous class materials?

If you would like help from us, you would have to provide a great deal more
detail. BUT, it is unlikely that anyone will just give you the answer since
you are doing this as part of a class. We could answer specific questions,
or point you in the general direction.

ok i have query im trying to figure out the comission for all three reps. I
know i have to type in a calculation but then it ask me to type in the
parameters this is where i get stuck as i keep getting an error message for
the commission column

James:

DETAILS. DETAILS. We cannot see your database.

We do not know your field names.

We do not know how commission is calculated.

Do you have a commission percent stored with each rep in a table? Are you
calculating commission on one item or a bunch? Is there a minimum
commission?

If you want us to take the time to help you resolve your issue, then you
need to take the time to explain to us IN DETAIL what you are trying to do.
We would need to know everything about your tables (what are they? What
fields are in them? What are the relationships between them?) We would
have to know what your commission formula is. We would need to know what
you have tried. If you are getting an error, then you could take the time
to post the text from that error. You say you are typing in parameters -
WHAT ARE THEY?

C'mon, guy. If you are that confused and you have all the data, how do you
expect us to help you with your brief vague posts.

its a hole bunch ad reps i have to figure out the equation. I have the
equation right here its commission[comm rate]*[amount paid] the it ask me to
put in a parameter but what exactly is the parameter and what do i put in
there

Ask your teacher.
