Fields Change for All Folders

I can change the fields displayed for individual folders by using
View|CurrentView|Customize Current View|Fields but it only changes the
current folder. Is there any way to change ALL folders to display the same
fields, aside from the brute force method of changing each one individually.
Using Outlook 2000 and Windows XP Home.

Instead of changing the Current View change the Messages View;
View-> Arrange By-> Current View-> Define Views...-> select Messages->
button Modify-> button Other Settings

Although the method isn't fail proof and it won't change the view of the
folder who are in a modified view already this will still save you a lot of
time adjusting the folders. For the others; brute force it is.

Roady,

Thanks..it worked but I had to modify your instructions because there is no
Arrange By in my View menu. In fact, I couldn't find it in any menu. But
in the Customize Toolbars menu I found Define Views and dragged it onto a
toolbar. From there, it worked with your instructions. Don't know what
happened to Arrange By?

Arrange by is only in Outlook 2003 - it adds a step or two between Views an
Define Views.
